Lifestyle medicine: The first step towards a healthier life
I am committed to taking ownership of my health and empowering others to do the same. My passion for preventative medicine and whole-person well-being led me to pursue a Lifestyle Medicine Diploma in 2020. Lifestyle medicine is rooted in evidence-based therapeutic approaches that not only prevent and treat but also have the potential to reverse lifestyle-related chronic diseases.
At the core of my approach is a strong belief in the power of everyday choices to transform health. I advocate for a predominantly whole food diet, regular physical activity, restorative sleep, effective stress management, and the avoidance of risky substance misuse. Beyond that, I embrace a range of non-drug interventions that support overall well-being, recognising that true health is a synergy of mind, body, and lifestyle.
